Just a quick post to mark the day I celebrate my nineteenth year on this odd little planet.
I should really be studying for a dreaded art history exam tomorrow, however I am instead sipping pink bubbly in front of the laptop listening to Romeo and Juliet by the Dire Straits...far more enjoyable.
Due to the academics, major celebrating has been postponed until tomorrow evening. My plan for today; ease my way back into college after a hectic RAG Week, perhaps have a few drinks with the parents after college, nothing major. I still somehow managed to find myself passing up on an afternoon of casting for lunch and cocktails.
C'est la vie.
Liquid lunch was followed by a slightly light headed stroll to meet my parents, who immediately recognised the vodka induced flush in my cheeks.
Dinner in the local with wine flowing, it will be a miracle if I make it anywhere near Crawford tomorrow, was followed by cake and presents. Topshop treats were exactly what I needed after watching the endless NYFW and LFW shows on my student's budget.
A shopping trip to the capital with the mother is on the cards for next month, vodka martinis and trailing through vintage shops like theres no tomorrow!
A stunning book on the master that is McQueen was another highlight, so tempting to pass up the slides for a night tucked in with this!
